Lead poisoning comes from more than just eating paint chips!
LEAD??? The short answer.
Lead occurs naturally in the environment and has many industrial uses. However, even small amounts of lead can be hazardous to human health. If you are concerned about lead exposure, use our DIY Test Kits and your doctor can conduct a simple blood test to measure your blood lead level.
Some sources of exposure are sanding/scraping or ingesting paint with lead in it. Toys, jewelry, drinking water, some plastic toys and blinds from Mexico and China and much more. Our handy 24 pack allows you to test 2 dozen different items including your drinking water. If your house was built before 1950 then you may have lead in your plumbing and thus in your drinking water.
